About Rook Rainsdowne
Rook is a writer, artist, and all-round creative type who grew up in the Chicago suburbs, but who currently lives in the inland northwest. They are an MFA candidate for poetry at Eastern Washington University where they also teach composition. They’ve previously worked as a teen and adult programmer at a small public library. Rook graduated from BYU in 2021 with a BA in English and minors in creative writing and professional writing & rhetoric. Rook has a soft spot for birds and invertebrates. They often spend their time watching anime, reading YA novels, and playing indie video games.
