About Rook Rainsdowne
Rook is a writer, artist, and all-round creative type who grew up in the Chicago suburbs, but who currently lives in the inland northwest. They are a graduate of Eastern Washington University’s creative writing MFA program where they also taught English composition and Creative Writing. They’ve previously worked as a programming librarian for teens and adults at a small public library. Rook graduated in 2021 with a BA in English and minors in creative writing and professional writing & rhetoric. Rook has a soft spot for birds, fish, and invertebrates. They often spend their time watching anime, reading YA or graphic novels, and playing indie video games.
